Description of Ethylhexylglycerin:

is a multifunctional Moisturizer that can aid the preservation of cosmetic formulations. It can be added to the oil or water phase of cosmetic emulsion. When added to the water phase, it can create a biostatic environment that completely preserves the cosmetic product.

Ethylhexylglycerin has inhibiting effect on the growth of odor-causing bacteria. It can enhance the antimicrobial efficacy of typically used preservatives like phenoxyethanol, isothiazolinones or parabenes and by doing so enables lower concentrations of the cosmetic preservative in the formulation applied. It is one of the products of choice in preservative-free formulations.

Ethylhexylglycerin can be used in cosmetic emulsion systems such as skin care creams and lotions, or in surface based products such as shower gels, bubble baths, and shampoos.

Store in cool place, keep container tightly closed in a dry and well-ventilated place.
